Project Haiti has taught me nothing but kindness, love and friendship. I had the privilege to go to Haiti and meet our partners. They are truly amazing people with the biggest hearts. This organization has stolen every fiber of my heart, and I am beyond thankful to call them my brothers and sisters. Haiti has continued to fill my life in ways I couldn't imagine. It never leaves my heart or strays far from my mind.

Our partners want nothing more than to love and help others. They showed me that actions really do speak louder than words through their efforts to progress Haiti. Being apart of this club has taught me to live the simple life, and has truly shaped me into the person I am today. It is a wonderful organization in which 100% of the donations go directly to Haiti. I am so humbled in every way to be a part of it. I support Project Haiti to power the destined leaders of Haiti and give hope to Haiti's bright future.

Do small things with great love” Mother Teresa inspires my heart and the great of many others to live a life full of vibrancy and love. Project Haiti has been the vessel through which I can share my love with my brothers and sisters near and far. Please search your heart and contemplate donating to us in order to help our whole PHamily.

Before I had traveled to Haiti I thought it was a place where poor people struggled to find food and lived hard lives. I imagined people dying and starvation. I was a spoiled and ungrateful kid but somehow I made it down to Haiti. What I found when I got there was the most joyful, faith-filled, hopeful, and loving group of people I have ever met. While their poverty was intense, their hearts were overflowed with the love of Jesus. They live every moment relying on God and it is amazing to see how he continues to provide them with a contagious joy I never dared to imagine.

These Haitians have dreams of being doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs and everything else that young Americans dream of. I have been blessed to work with Project Haiti in giving the greatest people I have ever met the o[portunity to follow their dreams and change the future of Haiti. We work with our 4 partners supporting Haitian education and training in sustainable ways to keep the future of Haiti in the capable hands of the beautiful people who live there. Join our PHamily as we strive to bring Christ love through corporal works of mercy, while they generously fill us up with spiritual gifts of love, prayer, and faith!

Project Haiti is so much more than some fundraising group benefiting Haiti. We are a family both here in the United States and with all of our partners in Haiti. The most amazing part of this club for me personally has been the relationships I formed with my brothers and sisters in Haiti in the short week I was there. The relationships formed are unlike any others I have ever formed, they are centered in an a selfless love. These boys and girls don’t want anything from you other than an open heart which they give to you three times over. The culture, the people, and the country are unbelievable and awe inspiring. Along with their culture in an incredible faith that shines through in every situation they are in. These people who even have nothing at points still have this intense passion for God that is just unparalleled. The lessons and selfless love and unwavering faith have given far more to me and I can ever give back to these people.

Project Haiti in this past year alone has shaped not only my college career, but also my personal life. In traveling to Haiti this last spring break, I was able to experience love and compassion in a new way through my brothers and sisters in Haiti. Although Haiti is a struggling country with lots of hardship, I had never seen beauty nor felt happiness in the way I felt it there. Every Haitian I met was so open and giving. I feel so fortunate to have been able to build strong friendships that I am able to maintain even in the States. Since returning, my perception has shifted in a way that allowed me to gain greater appreciation and admiration for little things. Focusing in the moment, and striving for simplicity. Coming back has also given me a new drive to do as much as I can to help our amazing partners in Haiti. There is so much potential for greatness in Haiti, and I hope through Project Haiti’s efforts, we may continue to make any difference we can to support the sustainability of the country and our partners.

I was lucky enough to travel to Haiti last spring break and it was an incredible experience. I had the privilege of immersing myself in an extraordinary culture, meet talented people, and take in scenic, mountainous views. Project Haiti is full of generous students hungry to make a difference and I’m honored to be apart of this group.

I joined Project Haiti to be able to spread the love I feel to others around the world. I know that within this amazing group of people, a difference can be made! This group is fully aware of the changes that need to be made and we are ready to work hard in order to significant influence our partners in Haiti with the support of friends and family.

I am beyond gracious for Project Haiti as it serves as a constant reminder to increase compassion and love among people, regardless of their socioeconomic situations. Project Haiti thrives off of the joy from our Haitian partners and is a tangible way to see God’s incredible work on Earth. I am so thankful that this club allows us to love how we are called to, "Love others as I have loved you." Join us in this love.

I joined Project Haiti because I wanted a club that would connect me with our brothers and sisters there. This club is a family to me. Our partners’ stories have touched my heart and they are the reason I continue to be so involved. Joining Project Haiti is the best decision I have made in my college career. Being surrounded by so many people who have the same goal as me is so powerful. Last Spring I had the opportunity to travel to Haiti and visit our partners. They showed me what pure love, beauty, and happiness is. I have created lifelong friendships through this club. Haiti will always hold a special place in my heart.

I joined Project Haiti this year and I instantly fell in love with the people in the club, and everything that it stands for. I have always been passionate about wanting to make a difference in our world, and by joining this club i have been able to continue out that mission. I love being able to serve my brothers and sisters in Christ who are across the world, with my brothers and sisters in Christ right here on campus, it is an amazing bond that I am so thankful to have.

I only joined project Haiti this past spring, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Even though I’ve only been a member for a couple months I already feel so loved within our Project Haiti family both at Penn state and those who are down in Haiti . I joined the club to become more aware of the issues that other countries are facing around the world, and have already been able to learn so much in just a few short months. I can’t wait to gain more knowledge throughout the year and during the trip down to Haiti that I am lucky enough to be able to go on this spring.

Project Haiti is one of the best parts about attending Penn State University! A great group of people to help raise money for Haiti. Being apart of this club is much more than an extracurricular activity, we’re a family here. Not just here at PSU but with our brothers and sisters in Haiti as well. There is so much to be done over there and all of us pour our hearts into this club! It is truly an honor to say I am a member of this amazing club.

While also, allowing me to become more aware of the current climate in Haiti. This club does so much to benefit our partners in Haiti, and I am so grateful to be apart of it.

Project Haiti has been one of the most rewarding and meaningful organizations I have joined since coming to Penn State. Working with like-minded individuals, for a cause we all deeply care about, is nothing short of magical. Project Haiti has given me lifetime friends, and a PHamily, that will always hold a very special place in my heart. Our partners have already made a tremendous, positive impact on my life, and for that, I am forever grateful. I cannot wait to see where our future endeavors, and this organization take us all. “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” John 15:12

I chose to join Project Haiti to fulfill my desire for helping others in any way I can. Project Haiti has shown me how much love and compassion that I, and others are truly capable of giving. As a club, our goal is to help change the lives of our brothers and sisters in Haiti. Being a part of this club has really had an impact on my life that I wouldn’t have imagined and I’m so thankful for our PHam here at Penn State.

EMILY BARTON

I joined Project Haiti in search of making friends who also love to serve and help others. I was quickly drawn in by the mission of the club- to raise funds and awareness for our partners in Haiti. I find it so valuable that we have a long-standing relationship with our partners that has lasted for over 20 years. Rather than flying in, taking pictures, and flying out without any lasting connection or impact, we spend all year raising money and gathering specific donations which we give to our partners to use as they need. I love learning about our partners and being able to be in contact with the kids for whom we work so hard to support. Please consider supporting the mission of this club and making a real difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters in Haiti.

As an incoming freshman I was ready to take on new adventures and call Penn State my home for the next four years of my intellectual junior. Coming in even though I was excited I was still scared but project Haiti welcomed me with open arms and helped me feel at home at State. It’s a wonderful club filled with amazing people willing to help people thousands of miles away. Ever since I was in middle school I have always been passionate about volunteering and by joining the club I was able to continue helping other people. This club has taught me compassion and selflessness from the little time I have been here. It’s such a great club and I hope I can continue being apart of project Haiti for the next couple of years at Penn State.

I joined Project Haiti this year with little to no knowledge as to what was occurring in Haiti or what exactly I was getting myself into. Over this past semester, I’ve learned all about our brothers and sisters in Haiti and how much help they truly need along with meeting some of the best people I could’ve ever asked to meet. This group of people genuinely cares about what is happening and wants to make a difference in our brothers and sisters lives. Please consider donating, your generosity doesn’t go unnoticed and we all greatly appreciate it.

Project Haiti has provided me the opportunity to join a community of like-minded people at Penn State that all have made the decision to make an impact beyond our school. We can see in our partners that there are so many people that have faith and joy despite facing difficulties many of us cannot even fathom. There is so much I have learned from our partners, even without ever meeting them, and I have grown so much through being surrounded by people that choose to dedicate their time to help these gracious, incredible people in Haiti. Our brothers and sisters in Haiti inspire us each and every day. I have gained so much from being a part of this organization, and I know I will continue to learn from the hope and strength of our PHamily both near and far.

I joined Project Haiti because I am able to do something for a cause that is much bigger than myself with some of the best people in the world. This year I have the amazing opportunity of serving as the Director of Donor Relations! Through this role, I lead a small committee of general body members. As a committee, we are in charge of managing the club's donor drive and maintaining contact with our donors :)
